What is it?

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is the art and science of creating powerful and positive states- of- mind for yourself and others. NLP can be applied to your health and wellbeing, businesses and relationships.
NLP works naturally to improve your life and can be applied to health, business and whatever area needs improving.
You’ll find tools that you can apply in business for sales, management, consulting, communication, and coaching, as well as presentation skills, public speaking and personal growth. NLP works systematically, producing tangible results. Once you have mastered the science of communication you will really appreciate the art.
NLP is about creating positive change. However, you can use NLP not only to fix problems, but also to develop what you do well to enable you to excel. There are four key concepts in NLP: outcomes, rapport, sensitivity and flexibility. In short, applying these concepts will lead to success in whatever area of life or field you specialise in.
Outcomes: an important concept is that you get what you focus on. Too often, people tend to focus on their problems and what is not right. In NLP, we focus on our outcomes. Outcomes are distinct from goals in that they are a direction or a path. NLP provides a way of forming your outcomes which empower you to achieve them.
Rapport: the essential ingredient when you are communicating and changing. Being in rapport ensures effective communication and therefore the ability to create rapport is vital to your success.
Sensitivity: once you know your outcomes you need feedback to let you know to what extent you are achieving them. Sensitivity is important to check constantly that you are moving in the right direction. Once you know what you want, how do you know when you get there?
Flexibility: If you always do what you have always done, then you will always get the same results. It is important if you are not getting what you want, to change what you are doing until you do achieve your goals.
